I love pancakes and have been searching for a recipes that is high in protein that's quick and easy! And also one that works!
I tend to have these on weekends as either for breakfast or mid morning snack.
Ingredients
- Half a banana
- Protein powder
- 3 Egg whites
- Table spoon of Olive Oil
Step one:
Place your half a banana into a food blender
Step Two:
Add the 3 Egg whites to the blender with the banana
Step Three:
Add 1/2 scoop of Whey protein (Chocolate Brownie is really good)
Step Four:
Blend till smooth
Step Five:
Add a table spoon of oil to a hot pan and add 1/3 of the mixture
Step Six:
Once air bubbles start to appear, flip the pancake and cook for a further 30 seconds.
I top with a little Honey, Cinnamon and icing sugar,
ENJOY!
Makes approx 3 pancakes with a total of 18 - 30g of protein - dependant on your Whey powder.
