Day 2 ~ Chest & Triceps

Fantastic leg workout yesterday! Legs are still aching. Can only be a good thing?

Tonight the gym was very busy, with everyone doing a chest workout! As I couldn’t get onto the dumbbells, I opted for 10 minutes on the bike – HIIT training. After I have swapped my exercises around just so I could get on all the equipment.

I am currently following a cutting plan, provided by Andrew has provided me with a diet and training plan, which will aid me to reach my goal. (Keep my body mass, drop the fat). Check out his website for custom plans and diets.

I have also opted to change the supplements that I use and gone for the Myprotein Building muscle bundle: The bundle contains a whey protein, which is ideal for cutting as well a number of vitamins.

I was slightly disappointed with the amount of weight I was able to lift tonight! Not sure if it’s because I have been out of the gym for three weeks or changed my diet. Either way, it’s going to take some time to get my strength back.

Today’s chest workout achieved 631 calories burnt and took 1hr 6mins.

As a post workout supplement, I have taking MyProtein’s Hurricane XS. Great shake which hits your required carbs and protein, as well as creatine and HMB.
