Benefits of Being a Teen Bodybuilder

Although bodybuilding used to be an adult sport, nowadays more and more teens are becoming interested in it, motivated by their idols such as sportsmen and actors. Teens want to have great bodies which they want to show around their friends and bodybuilding will make that happen for them.

Some claim that bodybuilding can negatively impact a young person’s growth, and it, in fact can, if not practiced properly. But, with a good plan, proper form when performing exercise any teen will reap numerous benefits of being a bodybuilder.

First day back in the gym after Christmas! Although the gym was nice and quite I felt I was lacking in motivation and strength. Probably due to the over indulging over the festive period! The lack of strength showed in my bench press, which decreased from last week! However the dumbbell presses remained about the same but increased in wide grip lat pull downs and dumbbell rows. J  

Day 1 ~ Chest & Back

First day back in the gym for a week! We all know how busy Christmas is and finding time to hit the bench can be difficult.

This week, I have decided to change my workout route. Starting the week off with a chest and back sesh. This workout is a five day split focusing on the main muscle groups. I was performing drops sets (Every set you perform, drop the amount of reps but increase the weight.) This will allow me to build not only my muscle but increase my strength.
